Chris Finn & Matthew Zhuk
Chris Finn: “Welcome back to FWO Wednesday Webcast. It’s been a few weeks, but Pierre needed a little hiatus.”
Matt Zhuk: “The Internet Champion welcomed a little bundle of joy back home in Toulouse a few weeks back. The FWO welcomes Richard Delacroix to our odd and often violent family. But baby bliss is going take a backburner tonight, as Pierre takes on former Tag Team champion Spike Saunders.”
Finn: “It sounds odd saying that.”
Zhuk: “Odder still when you think about who the titles went to. I spoke with Spike about his Internet Championship opportunity earlier today, and he told me, and this is a direct quote, ‘Growl’!”
Finn: “Did you just growl at me?”
Zhuk: “No, Spike growled at me. If I were Pierre, I’d be wishing I’d taken another week of paternity leave.”
Finn: “Let’s go now to Stevie Richards at ringside.”
Stevie Richards: “Tonight’s bout is for one fall, and will be for the FWO Internet Championship. Coming first to the ring, standing seven feet, three inches, and weighing in at 317 pounds, he is a former FWO Tag Team Champion, from Beverly Hills, California, Spike Saunders!”
Finn: “Saunders bristling at Stevie’s introductions.”
Zhuk: “I wasn’t joking with you earlier. Double S is a monster, and he is not messing around today.”
Finn: “Spike crouching in the corner, cracking his knuckles, and even lowering himself down, I think he’s still bigger than Frenchie.”
Richards: “And his opponent, from Toulouse, France, weighing in at 242 pounds, standing 6 feet, 4 inches tall, he is the Internet Champion, ‘The Flying Frenchie’ Pierre Delacroix.”
Finn: “Pierre steps in the ring, and Spike is on him before he even removes the Internet title from his waist. Big left hand, a right, another right, and a knee lift. Saunders steps back at the ref’s request, no!”
Finn: “Saunders stepped back for a moment, but charged in with a lariat. Frenchie went over the ropes and crashed to the floor. The ref trying to force Spike backwards, but I’m not sure how effective that’s going to be.”
Zhuk: “Look on the bright side. Saunders knocked the belt clean off of Pierre.”
Finn: “You’re a positive guy, Matt.”
Zhuk: “Saunders out on the floor now, and you’ll notice the ref isn’t bothering to count.”
Finn: “You may have also noticed that the match has not officially started yet.”
Zhuk: “Pierre hasn’t. Saunders hefts him to his feet, and heaves him to the barricade.”
Finn: “Those fans at ringside are getting a bit closer to the action than I think they wanted. Frenchie’s slumped against the barrier, and Saunders is just peppering him with stiff forearm shots. A knee lift now, and that sends Pierre into the crowd.”
Zhuk: “Saunders wasting no time following him in. Security is coming down to circle them off, but I don’t think any of those fans want to be anywhere near Saunders right now.”
Finn: “Now’s also a good time to remind all of our great fans that, per the verbage on your tickets, the Fans Wrestling Organization bears no responsibility for any injuries should you come into contact with any of our esteemed independent contractors, including, but not limited to bruises, cuts, scrapes, rashes, or sexually transmitted diseases.”
Zhuk: “Spike looking around, and he’s got a chair. I’d like to stress that I don’t think I’ve ever seen these two men in the same place before. Spike’s not angry at Pierre. Spike’s just angry.”
Finn: “The chair comes up, and crashing back down, with Frenchie rolling out of the way. Pierre back to his feet, and dropkicks Spike in the knee. Now he ducks under a huge swing of the chair, and catches uppercuts the Colossus in the little Spikes.”
Zhuk: “That’s one way to get him to drop the chair.”
Finn: “Pierre back out of the crowd, and slides into the ring. Saunders follows to ringside, but he’s still fuming out there.”
Zhuk: “Saunders is eyeing the Internet Championship now, which is still on the apron.”
Finn: “He’s more than eyeballing it now, holding it in his hands. The Frenchie’s not taking that lightly, racing to the ropes. Baseball slide is avoided by Spike as he steps aside, and oh!”
Zhuk: “That’s a pretty nasty cut there. Do we need to stop the match?”
Finn: “Saunders plastered Frenchie with the Internet Title, but we can’t stop a match that hasn’t started yet.”
Zhuk: “The referee disagreeing with you. He’s throwing this match out as a no contest, but he’s going to have to tell Saunders that.”
Finn: “Dream Killer on the floor to Pierre, and Spike is just looming above him. What else does he want.”
Zhuk: “I’ll say this. If these two men didn’t have a problem coming into this match, I’m afraid of what we’re going to see the next time they square off.”
Finn: “Spike Saunders walking away now, dropping the Interent Title halfway up the ramp. The official checking on Pierre, who’s conscious enough to try waving him off, but that’s just pride talking.”
Zhuk: “As an FWO champion, you never want to be left laying there. He’s still the champion, but Spike just had his way with him out there.”
Finn: “The Flying Frenchie expected a match tonight, and Saunders brought a beat down instead. We can say that next week Pierre will face off against the man he defeated for the Internet Title, Brawn, in a rematch from Legends.”
Zhuk: “That should be a hell of a match, if the Frenchie can recover from this surprise thrashing he received tonight.”
Finn: “Join us next week, exclusively on www.fwowrestling.com.”
